After defeating the brain, James McCloud (It is debated whether or not it is a ghost) leads his son out the the imploding base. However, if the team went through Area 6 (Hard), Andross will reveal his true form after a fight with his head and hands: a floating brain and two eyes. However, after the credits, Andross is heard laughing, implying that he is still alive. If the previous stage was Bolse (Easy), a false robotic Andross serves as the final boss.
